Everything that makes col- lege complete is at Clarion. With over 140 student groups, Clarion offers endless ways to make friends and make a difference. Participate in Greek life, student senate, leadership opportunities, a performance group and every- thing from the Accounting Club to WCUC-FM.
Clarion’s popular EFSN (every Friday/Saturday Night) programing offers events that keep students involved. These events include concerts, magi- cians, open mic nights, movie nights, comedians, game shows and dances. You can be part of a committee or just enjoy the free events on campus.
Up for some friendly competi- tion? Choose from 45 intramural options, from the traditional (soc- cer and softball) to the unconven- tional (water basketball and in- line hockey). Serious about your sports? Go out for club sports — including rugby, Ultimate Frisbee; or pursue something from one of 15 men’s and women’s intercollegiate teams. Clarion’s NCAA Division II and Division I sports inspire some serious Golden Eagle Spirit!

Clarion University is the kind of place where you can take part in nationally competitive programs. The College is proud of its students, and the collaboration among students and faculty
allowing them to distinguish themselves from the rest. You see this in the Psychology Department who boasts a 100 percent placement rate into graduate school; and in the 98 to 100 percent of Clarion’s teaching candidates who pass competency exams each year and are sought after as soon as they graduate. Clarion’s Business students are hired by companies such as Abercrombie & Fitch, the New York Yankees, Pricewater- houseCoopers and Lockheed Martin.

Substantial Financial Aid and Scholarships
Clarion University provides personal financial aid counseling to all families. Last year, Clarion awarded over $2 million in schol- arships to students. In addition, roughly 80 percent of students receive financial aid to assist in the cost of attending college.
Clarion’s newly redesigned scholarship program provides students with a cumulative 3.0 GPA and a 1080 on the new SAT or 21 ACT automatic eligibility for Clarion Academic Scholar- ships (renewable up to four years). To learn more about Clarion’s scholarship programs, go to clarion.edu/scholarships.
Scheduling a Campus Visit
Clarion hosts a number of academic visit days for high school seniors and juniors and the University highly encourages a campus interview! The academic visit days are a great opportunity to meet faculty, talk to current students, enjoy lunch at the dining hall and tour the campus. The Admissions Office hosts Saturday open houses, pre- view days and individual appointments throughout the spring. Come see what Clarion can offer you!
On Saturday, April 22, Clarion will host its Spring Open House for high school sopho- mores and juniors. This is a great time to begin your college search. Find out more about academics, campus life and tour the campus. Visits throughout the summer will also be conducted.
