Discover Endicott! Located on the historic North Shore of Massachusetts — just 20 miles north of Boston. A stunning waterfront campus, hailed as one of the most spectacular in the United States. The tree-studded, 235-acre campus boasts private beaches, rolling lawns, and tranquil ponds. Diverse architectural styles on campus range from modern residence halls and study centers, to townhouses, Victorian mansions, and suite-style housing. Of the 2,850 undergraduates, 91 percent live on campus. An additional 2,300 students are enrolled in the Van Loan School of Graduate and Professional Studies.
Benefitting from a liberal arts curriculum, professional studies, and required internships, Endicott students are ready for the challenge of the “real world.” Small class sizes and a student–faculty ratio of 14:1 facilitate a supportive, hands-on, personal learning environment. The Academic Resources department provides assistance in writing, advising, and tutoring to support student success. The Endicott Scholars program offers qualified students a challenge, participating in an independent study, field experiences, and research projects.
Endicott’s residence halls house trained professionals, available 24 hours a day. With an extensive schedule of student activities, there are limitless opportunities in which to engage. Boasting more than 60 clubs, Endicott offers events, exhibits, performances, nightlife, as well as off campus attractions in Boston and other nearby areas. Endicott’s strong commitment to community service has benefitted more than 75 organizations in the area. Students, faculty, and staff take pride in having completed more than 20,000 hours of service.
Internships and Experiential Learning — The Competitive Edge
Unique to Endicott, is the required internship model, enhancing the Endicott academic experience. As the first college in the country to require internships in all programs of study, Endicott has discovered the key to success. Students in all majors acquire firsthand experience, confidence, and polished skills through participation at internship sites. Internship coordinators assist students in securing sites in the local community, Boston, across the country and around the world. The College’s affiliation with numerous local and regional hospitals, schools, businesses, and other field placement sites ensures a blend of practical and academic expertise. More than 53 percent of recent graduates received their first career position at one of their former internship sites. The Wall Street Journal ranked Endicott, the number two college in the country, for doing the best at providing career preparation through internships. Also noteworthy, Endicott was named the best college in Massachusetts for finding a job, ranked in the Top 10 schools in the country as the “best of the best” — schools that set their students up for the best success after graduation- by career expert website Zippia.
Athletics
Endicott competes in NCAA Division III intercollegiate athletics. Varsity sports include baseball, basketball (men and women), cross country (men and women), equestrian, field hockey, football, ice hockey (men and women), golf (men), lacrosse (men and women), soccer (men and women), softball, tennis (men and women), volleyball (men and women), and women’s track. In addition, Endicott supports club level teams in cheerleading, crew, dance, and rugby (men and women), as well as a wide range of intramural and recreational activities.
The Post Center is an 86,000-square-foot facility for the Department of Athletics and Recreation and the School of Sport Science and Fitness Studies. In October 2017, the Post Center opened the doors to an additional strength and conditioning facility that has both athletic and academic benefits with customized weight lifting equipment to enhance student-athlete training as well as new office and meeting space. There are eight classrooms, an athletic training facility, and laboratories to support the academic departments. The building is outfitted with computerized cameras, and SMART Board equipment for internet and long-distance learning. The 1,200-seat MacDonald Gymnasium hosts basketball and volleyball competitions. Steps away, the recreational field house boasts an elevated track and a racquetball court. All community members are encouraged to utilize the recently expanded weight and fitness center, aerobics and dance studio, and locker rooms.
Facilities
The Judge Science Center and Gerrish School of Business opened in the fall of 2013. This building features state-of-the-art integrated teaching and research laboratories; chemical analysis, computer science, and robotics laboratories; case study classrooms; The Colin and Erika Angle Center for Entrepreneurship; and a 150-seat auditorium. The Walter J. Manninen Center for the Arts was completed in January 2009 and features a 250-seat performance hall, a 100-seat black box theater, a museum-quality gallery, various art studios, and Macintosh computer labs. Standish Hall opened in September 2015, offering apartment style living for 300 juniors and seniors. A new residence hall, named for Beverly resident Peter Frates, opened at the start of the 2016–2017 academic year. Frates Hall, housing 225 first year students, provides a traditional residence hall experience. In the fall of 2017, Endicott broke ground on a $51 million development project featuring a new 109,000-square-foot academic center, a new auditorium and a multi-level parking garage. Furture plans include, a 34,000-square-foot addition to the Judge Life Science building which will feature enhanced technology and support the College’s new Engineering program.
Technology
Endicott’s academic facilities include 115 technology-enhanced classrooms, computer laboratories, financial data center, communication studio, as well as art, hospitality, science and nursing labs. Additionally, the entire campus offers wireless access.
Sustainability
The Endicott community takes pride in operating an environmentally responsible campus, reducing its carbon footprint, while incorporating sustainability into students’ academic and residential experience. In 2013, the College completed a 3,000 panel solar canopy that provides electricity for three residence halls. Endicott’s second solar addition was completed in 2016. This 156 kW array, on the roof of the new Raymond J. Bourque Ice Arena, was incorporated in the rink’s design and supplies about 10 percent of the building’s power. By making sustainability a priority, the College was named in Princeton Review’s “Guide to Green Colleges” in 2016 and placed 16th in this year’s Recyclemania competition with a recycling rate of more than 60 percent.
International Studies and Programs
Endicott recognizes the importance of preparing its students with intercultural skills and competency that will prepare them, personally and professionally, for life in an interdependent global community. The School of Undergraduate International Education serves students who wish to study abroad, international students who are studying at Endicott’s Beverly campus, and for the entire campus community. Approximately 40 percent of students take advantage of exciting opportunities traveling worldwide including: Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, China, Costa Rica, Czech Republic, Denmark, England, France, Greece, Hong Kong, India, Ireland, Italy, New Zealand, Sharjah, South Africa, Spain, Switzerland and Taiwan.

Endicott believes in a value-added, affordable approach to education, by providing financial aid. With $59 million in the form of federal, state, private, and/or Endicott grants, college work-study, and annual merit-based scholarships — more than 90 percent of students receive assistance.
