Merrimack is committed to providing students with opportunities to develop intellectually, spiritually, socially, and ethically. Students perform more than 50,000 service hours every year through organizations such as MerrimAction, Alternative Spring Break, and Relay For Life
From College to Career
The O’Brien Center for Career Development provides one-on-one career advice; access to “best fit” internships, co-ops, and jobs; and a chance to take part in Merrimack’s two-day Professional Development Retreat for juniors and seniors. Within nine months of graduation, 97 percent of 2015 graduates were employed, in graduate school, or completing a year of service.
Small-Town Community, Big-City Access
Merrimack’s expansive 220-acre campus is located in a picturesque suburban community 25 miles from Boston. Recent additions to campus include two new residential villages; Writers House; Bloomberg-equipped markets lab; state-of-the-art health science, physics, and engineering labs; and a world-class athletic training facility.
Return on Investment
Merrimack is committed to providing an exceptional education. But even more than that, it is dedicated to delivering an excellent value — a low student–faculty ratio, deeply personalized academics and outstanding outcomes as measured in long-term professional success.
Out of last year’s freshmen class of 2020:
100 percent of students received a grant or scholarship.
The average financial aid package was $24,839, including grants, scholarships, and federal student loans.
The median merit-based scholarship was $16,000.
This means that through the support of Merrimack’s strong financial aid program, a nationally-ranked education from Merrimack can be much more affordable than you think.
