Become a New England Institute of Technology Graduate – or Compete with One

If you love to learn by doing, New England Insitute of Technology (NEIT) is the place to reach your potential. Its unique combination of active hands-on learning, affordability and career services can set you apart from the competition and help you launch a successful career that you’ll love — an unparalleled return on investment.

Experiential Learning

NEIT is not just a premier technical university. It has also been a leading pioneer in experiential learning since 1940. This means that you’ll always be learning by doing, in real-world settings, because active learning is the most effective learning. NEIT’s industry-focused labs are designed to simulate actual work environments, and feature all the latest technology and equipment you’ll use in your career.

Why wait? Unlike most other colleges, at NEIT you’ll dive into your major from your first term. Its over 50 associate, bachelor’s, master’s, and doctorate programs are designed with input from leading companies in your field of interest, so you’ll graduate with the knowledge, skills and technical experience that employers are looking for.

The faculty at NEIT have significant professional experience in their respective fields, and know what it takes to succeed. They help you get inside your career of interest by sharing their expertise and experience. And because of small class sizes, they get to know you and your career aspirations, and can often help you network for internship and job opportunities.

To further help you succeed, you’ll be assigned your own professional adviser. You’ll also benefit from the Academic Skills Center which offers free tutoring and skills workshops, to help you excel and get the most from your education.

A University Degree You Can Afford

NEIT believes that a university degree should be as accessible and affordable as possible. That’s why it has created a few unique ways to save you both time and money. To start, NEIT offers among the lowest tuition of any private college or university in New England.

Each year, over 90 percent of entering freshmen students receive financial aid. NEIT also offers numerous opportunities for you to earn additional scholarship support. Each year, the Institute provides more than $12 million in need and merit aid, ranging from $1,000 to $14,000. All students are considered for merit-based scholarships, based on criteria such as academic strength, leadership, or community service.

Through NEIT’s unique Tuition Guarantee, you’ll lock in your tuition at the time of your enrollment. This means that your tuition won’t go up throughout your associate or bachelor's degree program.

Plus, through accelerated degree programs, you can get your associate degree in as little as 18 months and your bachelor’s degree in as little as 36 months. This will save you time and place you in the workforce to start earning an income sooner.

Opportunity

Want to experience what it’s like to live in the future? Then NEIT’s “smart tech” residence hall is the place to be. Beyond campus-wide WiFi, you’ll have access to Internet Protocol Television (IPTV) so that you can watch TV channels on your phone anywhere on campus. The high-tech laundry room features washers and dryers programmed to send you a text when your laundry is done.

NEIT’s Student Center is also redefining the campus life experience. The expansive food court offers a marketplace of choices to suit any taste. The Center offers a mix of gathering and study areas — including a sports pub atmosphere with stadium seating for watching sporting events, and gaming areas for foosball, air hockey and pool. It also offers a stage for performances, and karaoke, plus gaming pods to play video games with friends.

Stay fit in NEIT’s comprehensive fitness center, or get active in a range of professional organizations, student clubs, game competitions, honor society and club sports held at its athletic fields and basketball courts — and make your life as interesting and exciting as you want.

The Result?

Ninety-five percent of recent NEIT graduates were employed in their field within their first year of graduation. The Career Services Office helps prepare you for all aspects of the job search. NEIT has forged close relationships with hundreds of employers who look to NEIT to provide them with students and graduates — whether for an optional internship or a full-time position. In fact, the Career Services office often has more job opening opportunities than graduates to fill them.
