Founded in 1903, Fisher College is a private, coeducational institution which has been recognized as a leader in preparing students for challenging careers and further academic endeavors. With an enrollment under 1,000 students (a faculty: student ratio of 17:1), Fisher is committed to small class sizes. A writing support center staffed by tutors and dedicated faculty members are always available.
The Office of Financial Aid at Fisher College is committed to making education affordable to every student. Fisher College offers grants and scholarships as well as participates in all federal and state aid programs. Student scholarships range from $12,000 to $30,000 per year.
95 percent of Fisher College graduates are either employed or continuing their studies in graduate school within a year of graduation, proving that the College’s hands-on approach to learning works! Fisher requires one internship and assists students with a specialized advisor and prep courses to succeed. The career readiness programs at the College prepare students to meet their career goals and hit the ground running in the real world.
Fisher College is located in the heart of Boston’s Back Bay, within a 10-minute walk to many of the City’s major attractions. The College is situated across the street from the Public Garden and just up the hill from the historic Faneuil Hall Marketplace- one of Boston’s most popular areas featuring historical space, shops, outdoor street entertainers, and more. With over 25 undergraduate programs, students have the choice to find a program that best fits their interests. From day one at Fisher College, students are assigned an advisor who is trained in college transition and dedicated to student success. All first-year students enroll in a Common Experience course to assist with the transition to college.
