COLLEGE FAIR LOCATION

Representatives from colleges, universities, and other postsecondary institutions are expected to participate in the 2027 Long Island Spring College Expo, organized by the Nassau Counselors’ Association (NCA). Traditionally held at Hofstra University's David S. Mack Sports Complex in Hempstead, New York, the event brings together college admissions representatives from across the country to help students and families explore their educational options. The official Spring 2027 date, hours, and location have not yet been announced.

The College Expo offers students and families an opportunity to connect directly with representatives from four-year colleges, community colleges, technical schools, and other postsecondary institutions. Students can learn about academic programs, majors, admission requirements, campus life, athletics, student organizations, and financial aid opportunities. Whether you're beginning your college search or narrowing down your choices, the Expo provides an opportunity to gather information and get answers to important questions.

Before attending, review the list of participating colleges and identify the schools you'd like to explore. Students are encouraged to register in advance when registration becomes available. In previous years, students received a personal barcode that participating colleges could scan to exchange contact information. Researching schools ahead of time and preparing questions about academic programs, scholarships, financial aid, and campus life can help make conversations more productive.

Be sure to visit schools already on your list, but don't hesitate to explore unfamiliar institutions. With colleges and universities representing a wide variety of academic programs, campus environments, and educational opportunities, the Long Island Spring College Expo is an excellent place to discover schools you may not have previously considered. You may find a college that's a great fit for your academic interests, personal goals, and future plans.
