Representatives from 275 colleges and universities will participate in the Boston College Fair which will be held at the Hynes Convention Center on Monday and Tuesday, April 27-28. This free event is open to all area students and parents. Students are encouraged to register before the fair at nacacattend.org.
Representatives from four-year colleges, two-year colleges, technical and business schools will be on hand to answer questions and offer information. Workshops will include sessions on Making the Most of Your College Search, Mastering College Applications and Financial Aid - Paying for College.
Before you arrive at the College Fair, check the list of participating colleges and schools and select the ones that most interest you. If you have time, research these colleges by reading information in your counseling office or by checking out guidebooks or websites.
The College Fair is a timesaving opportunity for students and parents to gather a lot of information at one time. In addition to inquiries about course offerings and majors, students and parents can ask questions about campus life, sports teams, clubs and other student activities. College reps may also provide detailed information regarding financial aid.
