Orange County, NY College Night

Representatives from over 100 colleges and universities will participate in the 68th Annual College Night which will be held at Orange County Community College in the Physical Education Building on Thursday, April 25. College Night is sponsored by the Orange County Counselors Association.
This free event is open to all area students and parents. Representatives from four-year colleges, two-year colleges, technical and business schools, the service academies as well as the various branches of the military will be on hand to answer questions and offer information.
The College Night is a timesaving opportunity for students and parents to gather a lot of information at one time. In addition to asking questions, students and parents will be able to set up college interviews, pick up literature and learn about the various financial aid programs available. Before you arrive at College Night, check the list of participating colleges and schools found below and select the ones that most interest you.
If you have time, research these colleges by reading information in your guidance office or by checking out guidebooks or websites. Write up a short list of questions to ask admission representatives.
Read through this issue of College Fair Guide. There are many articles, charts, useful hints and items of information which will be helpful to you. The more prepared you are for College Night, the more you’ll get out of it.
