Cutting-edge Tech on Campus

At D’Youville University, campus development and growth are undertaken with a future-forward mindset. The recent completion of the University’s Health Professions Hub is a strong example of this ethos.

The Hub is a first-of-its-kind health center featuring innovative learning spaces, a workforce center, extensive virtual training resources, and clinics offering primary care, rehabilitation medicine, nutrition, nursing, pharmacy, and more. It provides ample hands-on learning opportunities for students and care for members of the surrounding community. A visionary project, the Hub earned a prestigious design award in 2021 from AIA Buffalo and has become integral to the University’s modern health sciences curriculum.

D’Youville University recently announced its soon-to-break-ground Dharma project. A $50 million academic building, the Dharma project will broaden the University’s healthcare programs by providing unique, world-class educational opportunities to students seeking futures as primary care and community-based practitioners.

Supporting First-time College Students

An extension of its high-tech mindset, D’Youville University welcomes first-year students to the college experience by outfitting them with the tools they need to succeed. The University’s Ready Program provides first-year students with a top-of-the-line laptop, an Oculus virtual reality headset, and textbooks at no charge. By ensuring every student is equipped for engaged, tech-forward learning, students are prepared and ready to do well the day school begins.

First-time and transfer students can jump into a wide range of undergraduate programs at D’Youville University, including Business Management, Biology, Chemistry, Exercise and Sports Studies, Marketing, Healthcare Studies, Nursing, Pre-Pharmacy, Psychology, and more.

Planning Ahead: Combined/Dual Degrees

Students entering school for the first time can push beyond pursuing a bachelor’s degree by choosing a Combined or Dual/Sequential degree, which includes a bachelor’s degree and a master’s or doctorate.

Students in D’Youville’s Combined degree programs graduate in less time with complex skill sets ready for the job market. Combined programs include Biology and Anatomy, Nutrition and Dietetics, Occupational Therapy, and Physician Assistant. Graduating from one of D’Youville’s Combined degree programs earns students a bachelor’s and master’s degree in their area of study.

Students enrolled in Dual (or Sequential) degree programs permit students to graduate with a bachelor’s degree and a doctorate. This moves students through a natural progression of in-depth, focused study and maximizes their college investment. Currently, D’Youville’s Dual degree programs include a bachelor’s degree paired with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree, Doctor of Pharmacy, or Doctor of Physical Therapy.

Leveling Up with a Graduate Degree

Professionals interested in expanding their knowledge and licensure can advance their careers by selecting one of the University’s continued education programs. In some cases, this includes enhanced or accelerated programs. Health Administration, Family Nurse Practitioner or Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, Pharmacy, Physical Therapy, and Chiropractic are just some of the doctoral degrees offered by D’Youville University.
