Find Your Future at Wright State University

Located in the heart of the Miami Valley, adjacent to Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Wright State University offers you a world-class education right here in your backyard. Over the last 50-plus years, Wright State has evolved from a small branch campus into today’s powerful economic engine, with more than 114,000 alumni around the world. Right now, Wright State is making a difference in the lives of your family, your community, and your region. The University is proud to be a critical partner in developing an educated, innovative, and creative workforce of tomorrow.

Wright State’s undergraduate tuition is among the lowest for Ohio four-year universities. The Wright Guarantee program guarantees the same annual cost of in-state tuition, housing, and meal plans over a four-year college career if you are a new, incoming, degree-seeking undergraduate student.

Wright State offers you exceptional, affordable education through its more than 300 academic programs at the Dayton Campus and the Lake Campus branch in Celina, Ohio. The bachelor’s degree programs with the most students enrolled are biological sciences, business, computer science, counseling, elementary education, mechanical engineering, nursing, and psychology. A 14:1 student-to-faculty ratio speaks to the level of individual attention available.

At Wright State, programs focus on experiential learning—giving you real-world experience based on the concepts you learn in the classroom. Manage a portfolio of university money in the Soin Trading Center or practice nursing skills in the simulation lab. Or learn the latest video and sound editing techniques in the New Media Incubator. Wright State offers internships and co-op experiences, undergraduate research, service-learning projects, and study abroad opportunities.

Enjoy campus life that includes music concerts, theater performances, outdoor recreation, NCAA Division I athletics, club sports, more than 100 student organizations, Greek life, and many opportunities for leadership and service.

The Dayton Campus includes tunnels that connect 20 of the 22 academic buildings, shielding you from adverse weather and adding to the University’s national reputation for accessibility for those with disabilities.

Newer and newly renovated buildings include the Student Success Center, Creative Arts Center, Tom Hanks Center for Motion Pictures, and Neuroscience Engineering Collaboration Building. The University Libraries house the most extensive Wright Brothers collection in the nation. The 11,200-seat Nutter Center is Dayton’s premier sports and entertainment venue.
