COLLEGE FAIR LOCATION

More than 175 colleges and universities will participate in the Fall Southern Connecticut College & Career Fair at the Hartford HealthCare Amphitheater in Bridgeport on Wednesday, September 23. The event is free and open to high school students and their families.

The fair brings together a wide range of educational and career opportunities, including four-year and two-year colleges, technical and business schools, service academies, businesses, and branches of the military. Students will have the opportunity to speak directly with representatives, ask questions, gather information, and explore options for life after high school.

A college fair is one of the best ways to learn about many schools in a short amount of time. Students can compare academic programs, admissions requirements, campus life, scholarships, financial aid, and other important factors—all in one place.

Before attending, review the participating colleges and universities listed below and identify the schools that interest you most. Spend a little time researching those schools in advance and prepare a short list of questions for admission representatives. Asking the same key questions at several tables can make comparing colleges much easier.

The more prepared you are before the fair, the more you’ll get out of your visit. Be sure to explore the college planning articles and resources throughout College Fair Guide to help you make the most of the experience.
