Centenary University Is Committed to Your Success

Dr. Robert L. Miller Jr.

Choosing the right college is both an exciting and at times overwhelming process. As you begin to look at colleges you will consider such things as the size of the institution, distance from home, academic programs, and perhaps the opportunity to play a sport. You ultimately want to attend an institution that helps you achieve your goals and sets you up for future success.

At Centenary University, we offer our students an educational experience that provides career-focused programs grounded in a liberal arts foundation. Our small classes allow faculty to get to know each student and challenge them, while at the same time providing the support they need to ensure success.

Student success at Centenary is demonstrated through a variety of positive outcomes. Centenary currently has the second highest graduation rate amongst private institutions behind only Princeton. In addition, 97 percent of our students are employed or in graduate school within six months of graduation. The integration of academic and co-curricular programming combined with our four year career plan prepare students for their first career and provide them with the skills needed for future careers.

At the end of this journey, you will most likely be considering a small list of very similar schools. Many times the decision to attend a particular institution is based on an intangible or “gut feeling.” When you visited that particular school it just felt right. The college visit is one of the most important parts of your search providing you with the opportunity to speak with students and faculty and experience what it would be like to attend that school.

Please come visit us at Centenary University. You can call us at 800-236-8679 or email us at CentUAdmissions@centenaryuniversity.edu to set up an information session and tour. We look forward to seeing you.

Dr. Robert L. Miller Jr. is Vice President for Enrollment Management and Marketing at Centenary University.
