Molloy is now Molloy University!

Molloy’s Fall Open House is scheduled for Sunday, November 6, at 1pm.

Molloy College recently announced that it has become Molloy University!

What does this mean for you? Molloy degrees will now be even more valuable in the marketplace.

“If you come to Molloy, you graduate with a job in your field at a salary that’s significantly higher than average.”
Dr. James Lentini President, Molloy University

Molloy University Emphasizes Careers, Value and Values

College-bound students and their families are always looking for an academic environment that offers the best fit and the best value for their tuition dollars. Molloy was recently ranked the #18 “value added” college in the U.S. by The Wall Street Journal, arguably the nation’s premier financial publication. Molloy has also earned other honors, including being ranked the #10 best value among Catholic colleges nationwide by College Values Online and consistently being recognized as one of the best colleges in the region by U.S. News & World Report.

In addition to being recognized as a great value, Molloy is one of the lower-priced private universities in the region, and approximately 90 percent of Molloy students receive some form of institutional aid. Additionally, Molloy’s strong retention and graduation rates means that the majority of its students graduate on time, resulting in significant financial savings compared to students who transfer to other colleges or universities.

“We invest in our students by preparing them to be successful. Molloy students are committed to a value system that stresses a strong work ethic, resiliency, professionalism and leadership,” said President Lentini. “This is why they graduate, and why they get hired. We reach beyond the classroom and educate the entire person.”

Academic Programs That Fuel Careers

Are you ready to pursue a passion? Molloy students can earn degrees in a variety of outstanding academic programs (including nursing, business, education, social work, music therapy, computer studies and many more) that lead to rich and rewarding careers. And its 10:1 professor/ student ratio means that you are never just a number!

“One of the strengths of a Molloy education is the direct contact our students have with their peers and their professors,” said President Lentini. “These positive interactions take place on campus every day.”

Vibrant Student Life

We know that you are serious about your education, but not all learning takes place in the classroom. With more than 50 clubs/student associations, evening and weekend activities and trips, a 550-seat theatre, exciting dining options, and popular study and meeting areas, Molloy gives you the opportunity to enjoy yourself and make new friends. Whatever your interest, Molloy has something for you!

Are you interested in living on campus? Molloy’s three residence halls house approximately 350 students and provide energy for a campus already buzzing with activity. Living with roommates, meeting new people, and learning to live on your own will help you succeed in and out of the classroom. Being a resident puts everything the University has to offer right outside your door.

The World is Your Classroom

Italy, Ireland, Russia and Japan are just a few of the locations Molloy students have traveled to in recent years, thanks to Molloy’s incredible International Education program. Wherever you go, you are sure to broaden your horizons with a cultural experience that will make you see the world in an entirely different way.

Don’t take Molly’s word for it. Visit its campus and see for yourself all the wonderful opportunities Molloy has to offer. You can schedule an in-person tour at molloy.edu or join others on November 6 for Molly’s Fall Open House.

At Molloy University, you’ll think about future in a whole new way.

Welcome to the new U!
