Rich History

The College of Westchester (CW) has been educating students in the tristate area for over 100 years. Located in White Plains, CW is an associate and bachelor degree-granting, private college offering programs in business marketing and management, digital and social media marketing, accounting, medical assisting, medical office and coding, digital marketing with social media certification and information technology which includes cyber security curriculum recognized by the US Department of Homeland Security National Security Agency.


With a keen eye on equal access and affordability, CW continues to offer the Empower Scholarship Award, as well as many other scholarship offerings. CW also offers its free Jump Start program.

Available to full-time freshmen in the fall and winter semesters, the CW Empower Award Scholarship Award covers all tuition, books and fees after Federal and State grants are applied. CW also offers several additional scholarships, institutional awards, and grants that are based on merit and need. Students never have to pay back CW scholarships. The College prides itself on its powerful and affordable private education.

The CW Warrior Gamers Club - Campus Gaming Lab in the Student Center is available for CW’s Gaming Club and for all students to enjoy!


Other clubs include a Student Government Association, Just Dance Crew, Allied Health Club, Amine & Art Club, Brothers and Sisters United, Sharp Shooters Photography Club, Stars and Stripes Student Support Club, NABA (National Association of Black Accountants), CW Enactus and more!



The CW Community

It is CW’s mission to help every student feel welcomed, connected and part of its CW Warrior family. CW staff and faculty believe students deserve an atmosphere of inclusion and attention. CW’s small class sizes mean students and professors and staff really get to know one another.


Student Resources

CW student services are of paramount importance for student success and an optimal college experience. CW offers a dedicated community of academic advisors, success coaches, tutors, career counselors, and a dedicated mental health counselor. Home base is the concierge desk in the student services center where students can get help and have their questions answered.


Curriculum

To prepare students to meet the needs of regional employers, CW’s curriculum is designed by CW Department Chairpersons who work with the CW Advisory Council which is comprised of local business, technology, allied health, and education professionals who provide meaningful input that helps shape CW’s career-focused programs of study.
