Why Choose Stockton?

Stockton University was founded in 1969 with the guiding principle of placing students first, and now, over 50 years later, those same principles have helped Stockton grow into a nationally and regionally recognized university. With over 160 areas of study, small class sizes, state-of-the-art facilities, and a flexible liberal arts curriculum, Stockton offers the academic and social advantages of a large university and the communal spirit of a smaller college, all rolled into one. Students are encouraged to take an active role both in and out of the classroom, through numerous internships, service-learning, and civic-engagement opportunities.
